Lil bub (the cat) shmup

So I'm not sure if this is in the wrong section, but lil' bub the special needs celebrity cat is launching a Kickstarter to get a shmup made in her likeness. I'm not expecting it to be amazing, but it may be alright.

A demo is up right now for both phone platforms. I tried it and apparently I suck. Let me know what you guys think.

P.S. The game will be free when it is made (it says). And also when it is made they will give a dollar per download to their special needs cat charity with a max of 10,000

The game itself seems mostly incidental. It's just another product for the cat's fanbase.

Just hope they read up on things we don't care for in shmups.
That's the most important thing.

I'm not an animal person, but I'd be interested in a good shmup being released.

Sorry about that. The demo is on the android or iOS store under lil bub. Like I said not an amazing game. Or maybe I just suck. It's a Kickstarter though and I don't think it will get made. There was a cat convention last weekend and because they didn't get their money there I doubt it will trickle in before the Kickstarter ends.

Lil Bub is a great internet cat, but the branding is kind of getting away from the guy I think. There was always the potential for it to become Duck Dynasty bad and with this thing it might be kind of there. Sometimes you just need to cut the ad-lib and let the cute cat ask for food and blink slowly. And then maybe some Steve Albini and Whoopi Goldberg, but always back to that.
