2016 HDTV's

Post by eric90000 »

In the market for a HDTV for retro and current gen gaming, some of the 2016 Sony sets look promising such as the WD75...even the 705C from 2015 looks like it could be the ticket.

Anyone else buy a good HDTV recently with low input lag and would recommend it? Around 40" is the sweet spot for myself anyway.

The 2016 Vizio sets look pretty great but unfortunately I'm in Ireland and they don't sell them outside of the US

P.S. Any HDTV that can handle the OSSC in line triple mode would be a huge bonus....

Despite the annoyingly outdated name, the 2013 Sony HDTV thread still is up to date with this discussion.

Samsung does't make OLED TVs, so you won't either :)

They used to, but the technology that they chose wasn't showing very good yields, so they pulled out of the market. I believe they intend to re-enter the market in the future, once they've got the yields up where they need them to be.
