Hello fellows, I am sorry if this was already covered somewhere else, but I have not found the answers anywhere yet. I know that there are many batsugun pcb owners (current or in the past) and experts in this area here on Shmups.
Can anyone tell me what the region jumpers look like on different region Batsugun pcb's
I see most of this pcb coming out of Japan and Korea, but always seems to be Japan version. I know that there are people that have different regions on this forum, but would like to know jumper configuration for any/all regions.
The pcb has 2 banks with spaces for 2 each.. 4 jumpers in all.
The Japan region seems to be 2 jumpers on, and the other bank of 2 is "no jumpers" in place.
Of course, the easiest way to have a Japan pcb is same as a Garegga, by cutting the jumpers.. But, can someone with a verified Japan pcb please say if there is NO evidence of any jumpers being in place on the bank of 2 jumpers that must not be connected to be a Japan region, on an original Japan pcb? Basically, no cut remnants of old jumpers will be on a legit Japan release, correct?
While on topic, can anyone specify jumper configuration on Korea, Taiwan, etc.?
As far as input lag, I have experienced heavy input lag on Raizing boards that seem to have the same processor that has " TOA PLAN" printed on it that is on the Batsugun processor. Is this input lag inherent on Batsugun that is present on the games in the Raizing "Bat trilogy"? Thanks for any help.

The input lag in Raizing games is intentional and programmed in; it's not a hardware thing.

Sure. But it'd probably mess with some stuff.

Re: Batsugun pcb region jumper info needed & input lag quest
Some time ago I bought a damaged Batsugun. The third button didn't work, it always skipped the warning fast since the 74ls240 that controls it was bad, and it had badly damaged traces in the region jumpers (probably somone had improperly desoldered these).

So, I added two dip switches while repairing it, so you are in luck, they are numbered as such for the following table
JP6 JP5
JP3 JP4
Edit: Modified table for a more logical array

The first one shows Taito as publisher on the title screen, the second one Toaplan.vengerov wrote:someone can tell me the difference between japan taito and japan toaplan ?![]()
Because in those cases the 4th jumper doesn't affect the results. It does in some others.vengerov wrote: and why there are 2 version of the jumper for each ?![]()

Thank you Artémio
I read on the first time Toaplan work in the shadow of Taito.
