I'm trying to track down a SLG-HD, but it doesn't look promising. That has me looking at a SLG3000. The issue though is VGA. I intend to use this for my PS2 and Wii as I play a lot of 2D Capcom and SNK games on those systems. Here is my current setup:
PS2/Wii > Component > Component 2x1 switch > Component to D-Terminal > XRGB Mini
I wanted to add the SLG-HD after the 2x1 switch. If I to go with the 3000 instead, could I use two of these (https://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-6-I ... RZFWX64VBV) on both ends of the 3000? The setup would look like this:
PS2/Wii > Component > Component 2x1 switch > Component > Component breakout adapter > SLG3000 > Component breakout adapter > Component to D-Terminal > XRGB Mini
Would it work? If so, would there be any loss in quality or a signal delay?

Re: SLG3000 Question
- PS2 games need to output 480p to work with a SLG unit
- to use a SLG3000 you need a transcoder (YUV to RGBHV), not just a breakout adapter
- why don't you use the XRGB to add scanlines ? With a 2x integer profile scanlines on 480p inputs they should look pretty good.

Re: SLG3000 Question
Thanks for the quick reply Fudoh. I had a feeling that this solution wouldn't work.
I've tried to use the XRGB for the scanlines, but they're super thin and not even. I just updated my Wii profile (using FBX's updated 2x GC profile) the other night, but haven't tested the scanlines yet. I'm pretty positive that his current PS2 profiles are not 2x integer scaled (I don't see it listed in the notes section and have seen older posts stating that are not).
