I'm wanting to watch DVDs in RGB so I bought a Cambridge DVD86 from the UK which is region free, playable in NTSC and has a SCART output. I then use a SCART to JP 21 pin converter to connect to my RGB CRT monitor but I'm getting a green tint in the image which has led me to believe that it may be Macrovision.
I bought a macrovision remover SCART cable but the picture hasn't improved so wanted to ask our EU forum members for advice.

If it's green screen it's probably component video, not RGB.

Re: PAL DVD RGB Output & Macrovision
I have it on the RGB output setting. Putting it on component results in a very green screen.alamone wrote:If it's green screen it's probably component video, not RGB.
