SNES Digital Audio: Worth It?

Post by wingzrow »

The SNES may not be the best system for shmups, but I've got a soft spot for U.S. Squadron. Is it worth it to have my SNES mini modded for digital audio if I have a decent amp for I can feed the system with?

This shouldn't be in Off-Topic; this should be in Hardware, probably in Questions that do not deserve a thread.

To answer your question, though, I wouldn't personally recommend it because I think the analog audio output through the SNES's DAC sounds perfectly fine.
