I've just realized a professional crt monitor thats cheap and easy to find in my country (BRAZIL).
JVC Brand, This is a picture of the inputs. Its bnc (?), but i think something is wrong. The number of inputs for each video signal is different from sony pvms. Someone knows?

Re: Need advice on RGB PROFESSIONAL CRT MONITOR
Sadly that's not an RGB monitor. The input on the left is composite over BNC, and the one on the right is S-Video. The one in the middle is for hooking up old school VTRs over what's basically S-Video.

Specifically you are looking for analog RGB, so the connectors should be labeled like: R G B and (EXTernal) Sync.
Beware of TTL RGB, which might show up on some really old monitors (mainly early PC compatible monitors, but some other presentation monitors have it).

Even if it doesn't have RGB, you should still save it from being thrown out.

Re: Need advice on RGB PROFESSIONAL CRT MONITOR
I have some experience with JVC's monitors without RGB inputs. In my opinion the S-video on them looks quite good. 240p games look really nice, and 480i video (movies, not gaming) is solid. And because the picture adjustments are so easy access my opinion on them is that they are worth it. But composite usually looks worse than on some late consumer sets. So only get one if you're satisfied with just S-video and you're not too fussy.

This display does not have a standard s-video connector, and there aren't any adapters available at this point. Basically, to use s-video with these monitors (and I think this is the same model that I have), you need to replace or supplement the s-video connector with a standard 4-pin one. So, drilling and soldering.
