Super Galaxy Squadron EX DRM-Free???

I´ve bought "Super Galaxy Squadron" at itch.io cause I heard that the owners of SGS get the EX version for "free".
Now the SGS EX was released some time ago, but nothing at itch.io or other DRM-Free plattforms.

Have I missed something? How can the people responsible for this be contacted?

To be fair to game informer from their original Super Galaxy Squadron preview, they probably presumed it's just a steam thing: "You can read more about Super Galaxy Squadron (and purchase it) on the Steam store page."

I take it re-downloading it you don't now get an updated pack or 2 exes or something? Most likely the ball's just been dropped by the developer who's now employed by the publisher according to the kickstarter updates ... who seem to be sending steam keys...

... If drm free is an important issue it might actually be one of those cases where after you download it from steam you can do what you want with it... A question worth asking if that's important to you and their suggested solution is a free steam key.

Dev here, we'll have DRM free builds up on the Humble Store and itch.io hopefully next week, after which you can get to EX through your itch.io purchases (and like Steam, the original game will still be there)

It´s been a looooong while since your post .... and there is still no Super Galaxy Squadrone EX at itch.io.
If you have trouble getting this to itch.io, can you give me a free voucher for SGS EX on another DRM-Free plattform please.
I´d really like to play it, but don´t want to pay again.

It seems EX's DRM-free version is now up on itch, but as a completely separate page from the original, though as on Steam the latter is included if you purchase EX. Any additional comment from someone in the know?

I do recall the dev saying that the EX should show up as another download for people who already owned it via itchio. I can't personally confirm it is available.

I have to say, i´m a little disappointed with all this.
I have bought SGS before SGS EX was released, because I thought I will get EX at release. Now it´s a few mounth and it´s already on itch.io, but no download option at my account.
I will not buy this game a secound time, so it seems this means I will never play SGS EX
