Bring over your Steam games to GOG

Post by Ruldra »

Connect your Steam account and grow or jumpstart your GOG.com library.

Today, we're launching a new program called GOG Connect. The premise is simple: connect your Steam account and add your eligible games to your GOG.com library.

(...)

Thanks to our awesome partners, you can now add more than 20 games to your GOG.com library if you previously purchased them on Steam.

Note that only the games listed are eligible to add to your GOG account. The list will change every few days I think.

Pretty nice way to add DRM-free copies to your collection. As someone who can only buy games through Steam, this is perfect for me.

Does this mean the GOG version of Crimzon Clover will finally be patched?
Two working class dudes, one black one white, just baked a tray of ten cookies together.

An oligarch walks in and grabs nine cookies for himself.

Then he says to the white dude "Watch out for that black dude, he wants a piece of your cookie!"

The ones I have listed as eligible right now - I got on disks, but it's a very welcome feature nonetheless.

Anyone else just being told "Oops, something went wrong. Please try again" over and over?

They are saying in the FAQ there might be a queue.

Just managed to import my games without problems, took like 10 seconds. And looks like they added a couple more games today (Surgeon Simulator 2013 and Xenonauts).

I'm REALLY hoping they add King of Dragon Pass to the list. The Steam version is a port from the mobile version and it's riddled with bugs, even asked for a refund but wasn't eligible anymore. If I can get a hold of the original version on GOG I'll be really happy.

Ah, I didn't see that in there. I guess it was the case, as I got it to work just now.
