Framemeister / XRGB-mini 3 no audio when capturing

Hi guys, for the past year or so I have yet to get my framemeister working with my XCapture-1 card. I just can't get any audio to capture yet if I connect framemeister to a tv/monitor it works fine. I was wondering if any has encounter this problem at all with any other capture cards or with same one? For clarity, this is for any video signal; RGB, Composite, S-video, Component etc. I have also checked all settings on the framemeister including HDMI audio and audio volume levels.

On a side note encase no one can find a solution is there a way to extract audio before it goes though the framemeister and somehow put that audio into XCapture-1 as well?

Can you record HDMI with audio from another device? It works fine on my card (SC-500N1 / Elgato HD).

I don't currently have another capture card to test this on. I was considering maybe it was a pairing issue but I have heard others have used the pairing before. Is there a cheap capture card that is of decent quality that I could buy to check this. I don't really want to splash a lot of money on a good capture card only to have it not be the problem.

What I meant was, do you have another HDMI console or PC you could connect to your XCapture-1 to test if that records correctly with audio.

my bad. Yeah I capture things quite often using Xcapture-1 be it HDMI console like ps3 / ps4 / xbox etc. or other signals like composite or component. For instant atm I am streaming FF I over composite direct from XCapture-1 without framemeister and it works fine. It's only when the framemeister is involved things get messy.

I suspect the Xcapture-1 only because if I plug framemeister into monitor / tv it outputs audio. But it's odd cause Xcapture-1 works fine on it's own as well. I am so confused :S

Are you using an amp? If the audio output is not down mixed then it won't be captured.
