does anyone have any recommendations for go / igo games on the SFC?

Sorry can't really help you there. Only console Go game I ever played was Hikaru no Go 2 for the GBA. That one is pretty fun.

I did find this list with a few Go games for the SFC. Give it a look (use the filter to show games only).
