Hi guys !!

Iam proud to announce you that my new Arcade Shooter Tournament Video is up. This Video is special dedicated for you, because, as you all know, we are from Austria, but this time the whole video is in English so that u can understand whats going on. I really hope you like it and I wish all Shmuppers a good time while watching.

We played several games this time:

Blazing Star

You can watch all our Scores in an Execl Sheet which can be found here
but dont expect any super Scores, because Fun is what we had most :)

I would like to Thank RFK for providing us with all the games, and thx for the work u had.
Thx too, for eitle.at for the webspace, and thx Gamebox for sponsoring us.

OK enough talk, lets watch the movie: It can be found here

Hehe, we always try to play everything. Cave is of course a must have, but we also try to play some games not everyone knows.

Next tournament will be on the 18th Feb. and this time we play in Teammode and the games will be:

# Ibara
# Donpachi
# Storm of Progear
# Dragon Blaze
# Gigawing
# In the Hunt

Yes, i Know, though we have Blast Cities, RFK was not able to run a Hi Res Game on it. Somethings wrong with it. But you are absolutly right, in a Team Mode Ikaruga is a must.

That looked like a happening party, for sure! Plus you had one of my fave games, Armed Police Batrider!

I got one question though: How on Earth did you get that foam dance pad to stay put? I'm on the other side of the room when I'm done with a song, its terrible.

Hey this is a shooter event not a puzzle event.
:D

Just kidding.

As Defcon 5 mentioned before. I tried to run the naomi system on the blast cities but i have encountered several technical problems.

The game resets after a few minutes. It must be a technical problem with the blast cities because the naomi system runs perfect on my naomi cabs

Dance platform:
The platform was made by "Rodent" (admin of www.vierpfeile.at).
Its a very heavy dance platform very similar to the tx 2000 platform.

Greetings

Nice meeting!

One thing i wonder: what is that tune playing in the background, starting when the narrator falls asleep and playing till the end?
...please don't kill me, if it's from a shmup

hmm this is disturbing news, im about to recieve a couple of blast citys, chose some over AW SDs becuse i already have enough of em.

id be very interested to hear some more about the blast city cabs, are they good otherwise?
suposedly they have autodetecting hi-res screens? maybe its like a megalo cab in that you have to turn the screen on first in order for it to detect the games resolution?

I wouldn't write off the Blast City's that quickly. RFK, its probably the way you have your Naomi's wired for power (are you using Capcom I/O or Sega I/O, GD-Rom requires extra power supply, ...). Sega-Naomi.com has had many discussion on this.

As for the monitor, my Windy2 has an original tri-sync Japanese autoswitching monitor. It will auto sync to whatever game you power up the cab with.

Hi !

Of course the blast city cabs are one of the best cabs in the arcades.

The monitor will automatically switch between the resolution modes.

I used a sega I/O converter with an extra power unit for the 3,3 voltage.

I think there must be a technical problem wit the power unit of the blast city cabinet.
