Overwatch

Post by MOSQUITO FIGHTER »

I enjoyed the beta for this. Haven't got around to getting the full version yet. Anyone else here playing it? It's pretty much like a new take on Team Fortress 2. I was disappointed that there isn't really a spy equivalent.

I don't play FPSes anymore (stupid motion sickness) but I keep watching videos of this game, looks pretty fun. Play of the Game is a seriously cool feature.

I've been playing it and having a good time. I like the character variety; there's something for just about everyone, even my friends who don't play a lot of FPSes have had an easy time jumping in.

I also played the beta and was instantly hooked. I used to play FPS on PC, mainly Q3Arena, CS (from 1.6 - GO) and TF2, but took a break for a long while. This game got me back into playing! The game is just plain fun for any skill level. I really love the character variety and abilities, and the Play of The Game is a neat feature even if it's weird sometimes.

I like the character designs better than TF2's (or WoW's). Always found TimeSplitters designs pretty palatable, too.

Boy, Blizzard sure struck gold with this one.
People have been waiting for an alternative to TF2 for years. (since it turned to shit)

I'm holding the #2 spot pretty well for D.Va players on PS4.

Not a single minute with any other hero? That's dedication.

It's pretty easy to get ranked in this game if you play one hero only. I going for balanced time between multiple characters:

isn't this a PvP game?

Don't worry about it. You can travel from the Milky Way to Andromeda and back 1500 times before the sun explodes.

Tank is not an exclusive term to single player/PvE. It shows up a lot especially in team-based multiplayer stuff like this and TF2.
