Pioneer PDP 504CMX, worth getting?
Buddy is getting rid of his old pioneer tv. Wondering if I should grab it for gaming. I've tried researching the model, but very little info seems to be available. Wanted to use it mainly for older consoles 240p / 480p

If he's giving it away just take it and try it.

I went to look at a very worn 434CMX last month and would've probably bought it but I couldn't get the VGA port to display anything. Like you, I couldn't find much info beyond the operating manual.
If it's cheap/free, go for it. Worst case scenario is it's a spare HD screen.
