Atari av mod adjustment,

Post by the_crayon_king »

So I was doing the Atari AV mod that I found someplace.
Anyway the video out was poor I would compare it to RF quality.
I read up on the THS7314 and it can boost/filter composite video as well as its other functions.
The long and the short of it is I made this:

Please use it if you are getting the same issue.
I think it looks as least as good as the Ben Heck mod look here for comparisons:

(this mod is easier to install for the end user that's why I prefer it)

Also I believe this type of daisy chaining could be used on other transistor based video mods.
There is probably a way to drastically improve this circuit I just noticed it while messing around I don’t really know anything about creating mods just installing them.

I will be selling this and various other kits in the future but feel free to use it for personal use or whatever.
