You're sure to be in a fine haze about now, but don't think too hard about all of this. Just go out and kill a few beasts. It's for your own good. You know, it's just what hunters do! You'll get used to it.

If any of you people are wondering what I originally wrote (for the lulz, I know), I basically wrote that I was depressed that Boston was a shitty city due to seemingly being a police state due to the shelter-in-place (though my dad took a walk outside during it despite us living only a few blocks from Watertown at the time) during the manhunt for the second bomber three years ago, as well as a children's hospital there selling out to the fake Ghostbusters. I said that the only good things I could think of about Boston were PAX East and Anime Boston. I also wrote a bunch of things that probably only relate to my suburb (Newton, which isn't part of the city proper, FYI), like almost no one playing video games, let alone mainstream ones. I then asked if anyone else who lives in Metro Boston could disprove those facts and say some other good things about it.

I also mentioned that the "retro gamer" kid I talked about last fall was actually a poser who just read facts on the internet and parroted them to make him seem like he was one. He said that NES games were hard to fake longevity, as if difficulty were a bad thing, so yeah.

Not bad. I can hardly bear just listening to real life dudes talk about video games in my presence; even if they don't say anything I'd find offensive, it's like the internet coming out of computer to haunt me.
More of my problem with people saying stuff rather than with their doing anything, though.

He wasn't completely innocent besides that, either. He has an iPhone 6s and before whining about him on this forum, I saw him at lunch laugh at his friend's $100 Android and tell him he might as well have thrown the money away.

I've listened to people talking about video games IRL, and I'm not too bothered by it. Almost no one has remotely similar interests to me, and I can't find the ones who do.
I also mentioned in my original post that I only know around 5 kids at school (excluding my Math and Chemistry classes, where almost all of them aren't SJWs and no one talks to the ones who are) who aren't SJWs.

That's a girl~
Her name is Ellen Baker and she's a (fictional) teacher from an English textbook for Japanese students.
For some reason, she gained quite the popularity since her appearance in those books. Probably because she looks so adorable.

I love those Boston steak and cheese sandwiches and the acid house influenced jazz funk fusion of the band Boston "Tainted love ooohhh" being a personal favourite of theirs.

Brookline seems a lot cooler than Newton. Their high school has a Japanese class, their public library has a shitload more Japanese animation and comics, and there a lot more people there into video games. I think I might move there when I graduate high school.

Also, there must be enough people in the Boston area for Anime Boston to not only exist, but be as big as it is. Also must have been that reason for PAX East to be chosen to be there instead of somewhere like NYC.

Huge hockey fan here.

I knew you were from Canada, but didn't want to be presumptuous.

I don't care about hockey, let alone sports. I don't even watch the superbowl.
