Mimo Genius II from Italy - Need help with Connectors

Post by St4rwalker »

Hi!

I am actually going to order the Mimo Genius II from Italy today!

I see theres a 6 pin? Connector RGB out, i want to connect my xbox306 to it and then to my beloved tated PVM2950QM.
Thing is, it has a Scart Input, how can i connect the device to it? I cant solder for my life, is there a
adapter or cable like that? Also, do i need anything else for this project like a syn strike or something?
I am so excited to see Mushihimesama in 240p :) :)

Thanks

Connect the Xbox 360 to the MIMO with an Microsoft vga cable, then use an "VGA to 5 BNC" cable to connect the MIMO to your PVM. Select 0 in the output of the MIMO and ready to play Mushihimesama

Hi and thanks for the reply. I have a PVM that does not have any BNC Connectors, instead a normal Euro-Scart!
Is there a VGA to Scart Cable with very good quality you could recommend me?
Also, what benefits will i get using a sync strike or a UMSA from arcadeforge?

I only can recommend the UMSA from arcadeforge, other vga to scart cables around may vary quality. You don't need the syncstrike if you are just using it with the Xbox 360.
