Cagar I don't know what it is you want me to reply to?
The initial comment and subsequent discussion was about lowbrow media machinations and elevating oneself above them - rather than becoming infatuated - for the sake of good health.
You seem to keep spiralling off on unrelated tangents. Talking about a J-idol's "charm" is not the point, proclaiming they're merely entertainment and therefore we're the dummies is not the point, and talking about feminist doctrine is so far off the point I don't even know which field you're sitting in any more.

Gee your argumentation skills really blow my mind.
Actually me too. If you want me to answer your questions, I'll do my best. Let me get my welder's mask and blowtorch.

The longer you invest in a fiction the less in touch you become with reality
This is the feminist blog part. "muh unrealistic presentation of females!! ;_;"
This is nothing to do with feminism. Do you understand what feminism is, either modern third wave, radical militant, or that of the original women's liberation movement?
Encouraging a man to look at pornography to satisfy simple urges is probably the opposite of damning unrealistic body images. The point that's eluding you (impressively) is that idolatry of a commercial fabrication - to the point where you want to date someone who doesn't exist - isn't healthy.
There's no reason you shouldn't be able to grasp this. I've literally spelled it out for you four times.
I take it that you don't watch movies either? I mean they're full of unrealistic representations of real people. How about shmups? They too have many unrealistic representations of real people, and of the world in general.
Are these things complete waste of time because of that?
God. Cagar, I really can't take this seriously. Regardless of whether or not you're stupid, this is a really stupid comment. If you can't figure out that value of entertainment in all its various guises has a broad scale ranging from wonderful works of art to Nikki Minaj's ass, I can't help you. Lock yourself in a library or something.
Do you seriously think that losing touch with reality is a serious threat of unrealistic entertainment?

Maybe for someone with rare, serious mental issues it is. The idol otaku discussions I've seen have been very aware of how 'socially challenged' they themselves are and how fake picture idols paint of real women. It feels stupid to even type it that way because it's exactly the point and literally EVERYONE fucking knows that, even the fans unlike you seem to think.
No. There are obsessive individuals who fixate on the fantasy to unhealthy levels, groomed expertly by marketeers. Do you think the guy musing about dating a J-idol in this thread, or the 40 year-old misfits standing in the rain in their idol tees trying to get an autograph are aware that when her makeup comes off, when her mood changes, when she rolls out of bed in the morning before brushing her teeth, when she takes a shit and blocks the toilet, are all elements of the actual person? Of course not. They're men. Their base instinct is to mate, and they're being sold a perfect image of something they'd like to mate with, to the point where they dedicate large portions of their lives and incomes to a false love.
You're not a special one ascended to a level above all this, seeing the through the idol illusion.
No, and I certainly hope not or the entire world is royally fucked. But you're not saying anything groundbreaking, you just keep wondering off-topic.
...a girl singing and dancing like a 6 year old on amphetamines to a shitty canned factory track while miming like a robot.
Sounds crazy and unusual. Where have you seen something like this?
That's a picture of J-idol antics exaggerated for effect. Why would you take it as a literal?
Right. So idol concerts and music isn't art? I'm starting to see the problem here.
I actually can't answer this because every time I read this sentence I weep for humanity.
it's fairly common especially for old egoistic people to phrase their opinion as objective.
Who's 'old'?
It's fairly common for younger generations to be borderline retards with no education outside of the internet or concept of the world at large; yet I still do them the good grace of repeating myself into a fine mist to try to get them to understand a simple angle.
I repeat, no moral policing occurred. Telling someone to get their head out of their ass, stop pandering to the fat man peddling factory concocted women, and go and liberate themselves through productive social avenues is the most moral advice I could possibly give!
