I love the original series (and its god-tier OP) but I'd rather sign a petition to stop an Outlaw Star 2 from being made. They can do something original instead.

I'm with him on this.

I've got the DVD of Outlaw Star (should watch it again) and I've seen it like 3-4 times as it's my favourite anime EVER.

However, it has been too long since the original was made and I wouldn't want to see what they came up with these days given how badly anime has largely gone to shit.

One of my favorites from back in the day. I'd actually be happy with a remake rather than a sequel, but only if Takehiko was at the helm and given the opportunity to tell the story as he originally intended.
