40" is perfectly fine. I don't know why everyone thinks TV's have to be so big. The smaller the better when it comes to retro games. Those were designed with 20"-25" max.

Because with a big one you can play from the sofa, and the bigger your livingroom/mancave, the better (also with many buddies)
