SNES Mini RGB

Post by scottmog »

I've been reading into how to RGB mod my mini and have basically seen two ways.

For some background on my setup I am using a framemeister on a random LED tv, not a PVM/BVM/CRT of any kind. Not sure if that will change opinion on how to RGB mod my mini.

Should I purchase the RetroRGB AMP from retrorgb.com or should I use basic resistors and wires? I want to do it the right way, the first time, with the best materials.

Buy the amp. It's a lot less hassle

If you want to get the best possible output from your SNES Mini, buy the amp but also don't forget to apply the brightness fix. It will look very good without the brightness fix but it will have the incorrect brightness/black level.

Ok, I was waiting for a couple more replies before I ordered the part. I'll go get it now, thanks for the input.
