Wanting to run my RGB and S-video consoles to my Crosspoint -> XRGB2 Plus -> RGB to component converter -> Plasma TV
Of those three, which do you suggest as the best option?
The Xselect and Kramer are definitely harder to find, but if they're that much better, I'll search them out.
Or would the VSC 500/700 be another option? I also may add component consoles to this setup later, so would the Xselect be the better option long term?
P.S. The reason I use the XRGB2 Plus is because it works perfectly with all my consoles, like my S-Video Atari 7800 on any monitor/TV I've tried. I had zero success with an XRGB3 in B1 mode. Not going to use the Mini because of the lag.

I had an XRGB 3 and used my AA 9a60a to get component to my plasma TV, and it worked brilliantly. I think it's been well established on here that the 9a60/a is an excellent transcoder.
Since I don't have my XRGB-3 anymore, I'm thinking about selling my 9a60a, since it sees no use now. I'll shoot you a pm

The AA is fine for use with the XRGBs. The Kramer is hardly an option, since it's so hard to find.
VSC500/700 are scan converters, that output 15khz video, so I don't see how this would work in your setup.
If you're adding systems which output natively in 480p component, you can route this directly to your TV. If you want to go HDMI, just route back the AA's output into the matrix and put a component to HDMI converter on one of the outputs.

I use a 9A60A with my XRGB-3 to my TV. The only issues I had were fixed by adjusting the pot. Still needed an extron interface to get the image fully centered.
