Vertical height too short to fill screen

Post by Ozymandiaz1260 »

Hey, I have an Egret II that's been in storage for a couple years. It didn't have this problem before, but now if I turn the vertical height all the way up it isn't enough to completely fill the screen. It's not really bad; I can get it to fill about 85% of the screen with most games. The horizontal is just fine. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Some monitors have a Vertical Size Limit (VSL) pot on the chassis you can adjust.

Probably an aging capacitor unless there's a monitor control that is just set wrong... what tube and chassis combination is it exactly perhaps someone can advise?

Recap the chassis before that capacitor leaks.

I recommend PNL video in Baldwin Park, CA.
