Hi Hardware Gurus,
I bought a Sony BVM 20F1U with BKM-10R control unit. However, I am having difficulty getting it to display anything and have some questions about the start up behavior of the monitor. I have the BKM-10R hooked up via the included cable. When I press the power button on the BDM-10R the power light on the front light for about 2 seconds and then goes out. It sounds like the tube switches off. When I press it again the standby light illuminates and stays lit. When I first flip the power switch on the rear of the monitor the overload light blinks a few times then stops and the standby light blinks a few times and lights up steady. Do you think the monitor was damaged in transit or are there things I can try? I am a new user of these types of monitor but I can follow directions. Thank you for any help or suggestions.
