Wish you good luck with it, and that Namco doesn't try to give you any crap. Are you using soundclips and music from the arcade? If so, I would suggest you try and change them to keep your back safe. Consider hiring a musician to make the tracks for the game, too.
Thanks, I figured if I don't charge any money for it Namco probably won't give me any trouble they do, I will just change all the sound effects and slightly alter the sprites and I will be fine
Can't be any worse than what the real series has become. Are you using a giant 'master' clock like TC1, or a segmented one like TC2 and on? (I vastly prefer 1's style.)
Nice, master. I approve. Brace yourself, though. You could totally get C&D'd for using those sound effects.

Thanks, I will do everything like TC1, it was my fav I am mostly just using the sound effects as a place holder for whatever copyright free sound effects I will use in the end plus it really encourages me to work on the game more hearing those classic sound effects come from my game. I adored the corny voice work of the orginal game it always put a smile on my face to hear FREEZE, THERE HE IS and of course SHUCKS!!!!!!
I couldn't see putting this much effort into something only to have that extremely takedown-bait logo on it...good luck though, I'll try it when it comes out, assuming you don't disappear before then.

there were multiple reasons why I decided to start with a fan game instead of something original I was using this game as a learning tool so I wanted to get right into the game construction without having to worry about coming up with an original idea also it was neat recreating something to love in a simplified form now that I am several months of game making into the project I realise what a silly idea that was but the last thing I want is to not be able to release my game because of some over zealous lawyer.
