Changing my Arcade Stick's PCB - few questions
Hello. I want to rebuild my AS completely, but my biggest problem is PCB. At this point I'm using Mayflash PCB, which is pc/ps2/ps3 compatible. Since I only use it on PC for MAME and I want to use it also for Steam than my option is going for PC/X360 compatibility. I was thinking about getting a X360 game pad and ripping it apart for the PCB, but there are special PCB's in arcade stores all over the web. What would you suggest? What PCB's you have used? I like the PCB from FocusAttack PS360+, but it's expensive like hell for me.

If you're mainly using it for PC, then go with http://www.ebay.com/itm/Zero-Delay-USB- ... SwBahVSczN (note that this one uses wiring for a Joystick with a 5-pin connector (SANWA JLF, Seimitsu LS-**-01)
Then you get a PS2 connector too, and can use that with PS2->360 adapter like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/PS2-to-Xbox-360 ... SwR0JUMgWm

But is it compatible with x360 steam xinput library, so I won't have to use this bloody x360ce program?

Please tell me about one shmup in Steam that uses it, and I can test it for you (I'm using this PCB in my stick).siemien wrote:But is it compatible with x360 steam xinput library, so I won't have to use this bloody x360ce program?

Simple thing
Mushihimesama, Dariusburst, Crimzon Clover, Jamestown
Try them all if you have them
If they are detecting your stick as x360 controller and are functional from start without buttons swapped. If a gamepad/pcb is not compatible with xinput than buttons A/B and X/Y are swapped in positions and triggers are swapped with shoulder buttons

The Zero Delay PCB is DirectInput, not Xinput. The options for Xinput are all pretty expensive. The ones I know of are the PS360+, Brook Universal Fightboard, and the Paewang PCB.

Great info, thanks. Now I don't need to test any games. I have Mushihimesama and Crimzon Clover, but have only played them using my PS360 (in my cabinet) so far.HalfCent wrote:The Zero Delay PCB is DirectInput, not Xinput. Nevermind xinput
I'm sure that I'll get it soon, because of the easy assembly with all components added to the package from the start
