Unrelated, but I recently pre-ordered Gundam Breaker 3 on PSN, I had 2000 yen to spare, so I got Astebreed... heard good things, so I'm wondering if the JP version is any different from the U.S. version?
To make this topic less about only Astebreed, any noteable differences between regions on other shmups of recent memory?
Thanks for any info.

Astebreed - Japanese/U.S. Differences?
The world would be a better place if there were less shooters and more dot-eaters.

The Japanese version has Japanese text, compared to the US version

^ That... uh, does NOT seem to be the case in the Japanese PSN Store download version! I just downloaded it and installed it and it has English Subtitles! I got it off my Japanese account to boot.
That was a pleasant surprise.
Even the menus, timeline, terms, and gallery were in English. The only thing that's Japanese seems to be the game's title before you load the game, the main title is actually in English with no Katakana over it.
Weird.

You can switch the language to Japanese in the options menu.
