The Outfoxies

Post by captain ahar »

i was scanning through system16.com and came about this games entry on the namco page. gave it a run in mame, and am amazed. the explosions, the destruction, the sharpshooting, tuxedo wearing, gorillas... its just got so much to offer.

its like powerstone but 5 years ahead of the curve... if only i had someone to play with, the computer is getting kind of boring...

in general, just wondering what those who've tried have thought.
I have no sig whatsoever.

Yeah, it is pretty fun. Definitely an original game type, 2d deathmatch. I like the character lineup too.

Own the PCB. It rules. Best two player game ever. I wrote up a big fancy feature for TFP2 with videos and screenshots and the like. But when that incarnation of the board went down, so too did my hard work.

NAMCO RULES!!!

I have two Jaleco Ponies and one big Capcom 3rd Strike cab. I wanna build me a supergun though for my forthcoming workshop and would also like to build an emulator cabinet. Mostly so I can play my GBA games (all of which I own legit, clearly) on a big screen at lo-resolution with properly mapped arcade controls.

At the moment, it is the money holding me back. I should be back on track soon enough.

Quoted for truth. The AI is so cheap as you progress... Two player though, it's killer.

I've only played it single player and it destroys me at level 3 or 4.

I am yet to try 2 player though. After reading the posts, I think I'll scam a few friends into it.

Its a shame there's so many games that are almost amazing but they just need that little bit of tweaking to make them sublime. Usually all thats needed is to stop them in places being so cheap.

I just looks at some screenshots and read the premise on KLOV.com. It looks AMAZING! Reminds me of a 90's PC game called Hunter Hunted (or something like that). I wish I could play it - but I don't really bother with emulation.
