just got electric shock from bvm

Post by St4rwalker »

i just got a electric shock from the UNOPENED CASE of a BVM WTF??

I was hold 2 Audio Cinch cable that i wanted to plug into a scart cable.. My right thumb touched the case of the BVM.. Not really funny, this is really depressing.. i can still feel it from thumb to ellbow in right arm 20min later..

Too many consoles on the Brennenstuhl electric bar?

The monitor is working fine, it is in standby mode via the remote panel...

Sounds like there has to be some kind of damage inside the monitor. I've never heard of such a thing happening until now.

Don't worry about it. You can travel from the Milky Way to Andromeda and back 1500 times before the sun explodes.

In that case, try consulting a local electrician if you can't find out anything more clear about this issue on the internet.

Definitely sounds like a grounding problem.

Glad to hear you're safe though, electric shocks are no slouch. Be careful from now on!

Better have an electrician come check those outlets asap. Never heard of such a thing either. You might get a static charge or something by touching some consoles or tv's but certainly never an actual electric shock. O_O;
