There are rules you need to know:
1. Tell all your friends about shmups forum, get them to play shmups
2. Never actually play any shmups yourself

This thread reminds me of something: how about creating dedicated non-English language threads in the Off Topic section so that it would be possible to discourse in Finnish, Portuguese, Italian etc. pp.? English is naturally the lingua franca for the rest of the forum, but it might be nice to have a respective thread for other languages, too. :)

By all means.

Might be nice to get the language spoken by all the members as percentages too. But certainly Spanish is widely spoken and we have several members who speak Spanish so that makes sense for a start.
