You need to run it in RGB to truely know its power!! Also STV breaks out stereo so look into that if you want stereophonic sound.

Nice setup rancor, loving those Bullmarks!

Astraea FGA Mk. I, Idig the casio! I won't bore people with all my G-Shock pics, but I did recently restore a classic from 1984, the DW-5200 aka HERO. Will be ordering myself a Brazilian repro band and bezel but for now I have a modified modern bezel to tide me over.

Ai-Chan is the PS4 mascot character ..... in Taiwan only. I don't know why Taiwan gets a mascot and nobody else does. I got this through pchome global.

Living in the UK and growing up surrounded by home computers, Ocean was like the EA of the time, except not as evil. Along with the junk they also released many tremendous games so I was happy to find this book exists:

Also got some new tyres for my bike since the ones that came with it had zero puncture protection, I picked Continental Travel Contacts. I recently found the urge to get fitter and get back on a bike, so I bought a Hybrid and have been going out in the freezing cold most evenings to get used to it again before I start to commute on it. Found the time to fit them this evening and the ride is much smoother, plus they light up all around the edge if car lights hit them, +1 visibility.

Oh well, we'd probably end up with some dull, less...um...colorful mascot in the EU anyways  Too bad she's only on the box and not on the case :(

That doesn't explain why Japan doesn't have one. Everything in Japan has mascots.

Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Naughty Dog's Jak X was the most - for lack of a better word - forming vehicular game to me (moreso than any GTA, starting from the very first one), but I'm not sure if I'd call it classic (not having played Jak X since maybe the year 2008). Crash Team Racing,

Image

however, always seemed shrouded in the sort of "videogaming people's creed" blanket that usually bodes well... and here's a copy under my roof at last.

Image

Who wanted to play either on SDTV, did so using PS2 or Xbox I guess, whereas those who preferred more accurate controls (and high resolutions at that) - played these on PC (as I did).
That being said, although Wii can't quite marry the air of joypad gaming with mouse-easy aim control (not comfy enough when all is said and done, and as such - a bit counter-immersive, so I can't easily go full PC of full console on it with point & click interface), I still wish such games got represented more on the thing.
Thus I chose to experience by myself how much justice those ports do the PC versions. Think TrackMania on the Wii, except even less necessary (at least TM was the one and only TrackMania for any home console known to me)... yet oddly tempting still.

I saw a more expensive German print out there, most likely better picture quality (this one's a 2003 DVD, letterboxed and - I think - only one layer, vintage compression etc.), but it'll do for a little while.

The Story of Sin

All of Walerian Borowczyk's movies come highly recommended, especially if you dig 60s/70s euro-art-house-porn. Really stylish and interesting stuff!

Can confirm it's actually quite breathable and nice to wear over a shirt, even in the afternoon Australian sun. :3

New Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS X (looks the same as my first one, bar some markings on certain butons, so I can't be bothered taking a pic). One button on the previous stick didn't work (I realised too late to lodge a complaint), but since the rest was enough to play everything I used it for, I wouldn't terribly mind.
Nowadays I must take PS3 compatibility into consideration, though, where one missing button might be the deal-breaker, so I shelled out once again, whereas the precursor went in search for a new home.

Image

Still wondering if the twin stick mode was named "ROBOTRON" with Atari's blessing...

Puyo Puyo is such a great little MD cart to have around. Direct port from MD-based arcade hardware in a tidy snapcase, surely one of the best quality/cost ratios around. No godawful localisation troubles, either!

Interested to hear what you think of Tiny Toons. I've been sort of curious about Konami's 8/16-bit work with the franchise, but (as usual with cuter fare) put them off for now. The first FC game's a pretty nice SMB3-esque, surprisingly tough as well.

I need to get back to playing it, but I remember it playing more like the NES game than the SNES one. From what I remember, it's simple hop and bop, but very challenging.

I received this from Amazon:

Hahaha, damn right about that! Although I admit that it probably won't get that much play time, as I'm more into 2 and Fever. Kinda got it just to complete the Puyo collection.

I've only played the SFC one so far. Having spent enough time with Konami's big guys (with the exception of Suikoden I&II, which I still plan to get into) I'm moving on to some of their lesser and franchise titles. MD Tiny Tunes seems a good starting point as it's supposed to be rather good and can still be had for sheckles. Still on the fence wether to pick up Turtles in Time. I like the game, but just not sure if I like it €250-much.

MD Tiny Toons pales compared to the SFC one. Feels very subpar.

The SFC one is a beautiful thing.

Turtles in Time is quite badly paced and gets boring after the halfway point.
