yes i'm sadly talking about our good old tom.
he was known in the german stg community as gleylancer and some of you may have him added at x360 were he had the username renderingranger.
i am sure most cave and jeff minter fan's that are around here a little bit longer must know him.

i don't wanna go into detail here because it just makes me sad and depressing.
but it happened a little bit over a half year and it's still hard for us here to even talk about it.
seeing a picture of him while i was randomly browsing the forum was like reality punched me in the face.
so i really appreciate everyone's comments but if i don't reply to everything it is just because it's no easy subject for me.

and as hard as it already is for us. it must be so much harder for his wife and boy.

let's all remember him for what he was.
one of the nicest and coolest guy's i have ever met.
you will be missed.

Ah, I'm sorry Cri, and of course my thoughts are with his wife and son upon hearing this awful news.

I didn't know him well, but, I remember seeing a "collectors corner" feature in retro gamer magazine years back (which I still have). I remember looking at, and admiring the pics of his fine shmup collection, trying to work out what some of them were and aspiring to own them all myself! He looked and came across like a really nice guy, Further confirmed by some brief exchange of comments on here way back. Gives me pause for thought.

I think members should make threads about stuff they like and/or have an interest in. I'm not interested. I say you should go for it. It'll look good on your university applications - initiative is a big plus!
