Is there anything else to the collaboration than this shirt?

The venue. Cave had a lot of their early events in Hey!, which is owned by Taito. It's also where this event is held.

Toyama from 8ing is going to be there but some of the comments from the Transition PR person seem to suggest they just invited him because he's cool and has worked on tons of shit, not necessarily because they have anything to announce.

Horii from M2 is on that same panel, as well as Maruyama from G.rev and some guy from CAVE who I've never heard of and who didn't pull up much on google (the only credit I saw was as a programmer on Instant Brain...)

Wowzers, they really do have just about everyone covered at this point...hopefully some tangible good (other than the ongoing "OMG this is really happening" fangasm) comes about as a result of the event! :)

I really hope they don't take a STEAM path. Sorry guys but I hate the platform and everything related to it. It has nothing to do with pc gaming but......

That is an awesome shirt, I would like one too. Is it more efficient to ship just one box to the US? EDIT: US Size L

I dont know where else to post this, but...

RE: t-shirts 'n shit

R.I.P. my inbox...

Please stop PM'ing me.. I've got about 30 interested parties, and I'm not even sure if I'll be able to get more than the "1 per customer" as has been the case at most every other CAVE event. I'll do the best that I can, but at this point its probably beyond what one person can carry. I'll get what I can, and any that aren't reserved will be up for grabs.

.. and for a bit of positive news:

I will definitely be attending, and now have a twitter account enabled to post pics as well as translate interesting things being said at the conference. Will grab as much merch as I can, and take as many pics as allowable.

Can we make a poll for which Cave game everyone is expecting to be ported next?
I don't want to make any duplicate threads.

Jesus, I've been praising for an Ibara Kuro BL HD for years since they first released Death Smiles. I hope someday it will come true.

Anyone else think it's kinda funny that Steam completely shits it pants right before the Transition event starts, where SHMUP developers would discuss the future of SHMUPs on PCSteam?

That is rather unfortunate timing, though supposedly it's been resolved now (despite no official statement from Valve)...weirdly, I was on Steam earlier today before seeing the news, and everything seemed normal for me. I hope, anyway.

Eh, I'm not that excited to play deathsocks again. It's a good game up to a point but I felt like I went just about as far with it as I wanted to. It will be great to revisit for sure, but maybe sale time.

I would have preferred Deathsmiles II, since it hasn't been already localized. I already have the first one on 360.

Here is the PV, although there's nothing that we haven't seen before: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEMVH8P8tJM

I had a feeling that they'd want to go horizontal for their next Steam port so I was kind of expecting this. I'm okay with it but I'd rather it had been something else. That hint about the third port being something that everyone's looking forward to is a little intriguing, but I suppose there's no sense in reading into it too deeply.
