Wishing you all the best guys and gals!

Drink lots, eat lots, get fat, play shmups.

Post your Xmas gifts here and tell us what you got (pictures if you like).

This year I blew £4k buying almost everything in Ikea, so that's all I'll be getting for Christmas.

Oh and Dariusburst Chronicle Saviours, xmas gaming love.

Plus clothes, money, gift cards, etc. It was hard to think of stuff I'd want this year. I guess that's a good thing?

Also, glass bottled Coke is the best.

I got married earlier this year, and this was my first Christmas spent with my wife's family rather than my own (We spent Thanksgiving with my family.) For presents my wife got me a new shaver and a jacket, and the family got me various gift cards ($100 to Amazon, plus miscellaneous smaller gift cards. I will probably get Fallout 4 and some other stuff with that) as well as a multitool and a couple of smaller items. My own family mostly does Christmas stuff for the grandkids, but I'll probably get a small item or two. We also went out and did some donuts in a parking lot in her car (she tends to be a bit of a hoon at times), and went out to the theater to see The Force Awakens this evening. Not a bad Christmas overall.
We want you, save our planet!

Among other things I got a toaster and a portable vacuum cleaner - which is stuff I wanted/needed. 10 year old me wouldn't be very amused with those presents but current me loves the idea of being able to toast delicious bread and get rid of the crumpets afterwards....

TV stuff: King of Queens Complete series, Walker Texas Ranger Season 4, Clothes, Bicycle gear, stuff for the bathroom renovation and the best of all. Darth Maul colored vinyl of Star Wars Episode 1 OST on vinyl. Awesome to see somebody actually listened this year to what I wanted! Local company makes it even better that now my sister has tons of stickers and pins. :)

Late Christmas gift. 20 minutes into Classic Mode (which I chose on accident lol) and I'm enjoying it. It seems noticeably easier than the original, but that's because it fixes some of the bad design (eg fast bullets firing from off screen enemies).

I also got a Seagate backup plus slim 1tb hard drive and Y cable to use with WiiU, a new electric razor, some cashews, Pocky, salsa, and candy, a gamestop gift card, a target gift card, a steam card, and an eshop card. I got the Yoshi WiiMote and a Steam card with the Gamestop card and another Steam and eShop card with the Target card. I used to Steam cards to get Legend of Heroes Trails in the Sky FC and SC, the pack of older X-Com games, the Gundemonium collection, The Tale of Alltynex, season 2 of Pinball Arcade, Spear of Destiny, and the Umihara Kawase 3 pack. I used the eShop cards to get Fast Racing Neo WiiU, Ninja Gaiden II 3DS NES VC, Ninja Gaiden III 3DS NES VC, and Another World 20th Anniversary 3DS.

I chose the NES Hogan's Alley since it's identical to the JP version, I have an adapter to play it on the AV Famicom, and it can be played on both systems. Duck Hunt just came with the gun (though the JP cart is cool and I like Duck Hunt).

Wife got me:

Esp 2 - Even though I've had it for a month
Two t shirts from Archer - the kind you have to be a fan to get.
A Rangers t shirt - Also the kind you have to be a fan to get.

And an amazing painting of Iron Man she picked up while we were in Milan.
We were in a shop while there and I commented that I thought it was a great painting despite not being a comic fan, and that I thought it would fit really well with the rest of our art (which is all nerd/geek art).

She bought it in secret, and had some help keeping it from me. Which would have worked perfectly if she didn't forget the luggage tag on my dresser the day she wrapped it:D

I'll post a picture later if anyone wants to see it.

I got her -

Borderlands Pre Sequel - Does she ever love that series.
Ranger hoodie
Pair of boots she has been wanting
The Food Lab cookbook from Serious Eats
And a few photos of us from the Milan trip framed.
You're sure to be in a fine haze about now, but don't think too hard about all of this. Just go out and kill a few beasts. It's for your own good. You know, it's just what hunters do! You'll get used to it.

Got some nice stuff this year:

-Got a wired fight pad for my Wii U (read: wii classic controller designed to look like a gamecube controller)
-A Splatoon themed hard case for my Wii U controller
-Xenoblade Chronicles X (you might be detecting a pattern here)
-A $15 iTunes gift card (bought Cytus, Downwell, and Deemo with it, still have about $9 left over)
-A $20 Nintendo eShop gift card (not sure what to get with it yet)
-And last but not least, my first pair of headphones that didn't come from the dollar store (Sennheiser 558s)!
