Computer or Console shmups that could be great arcade games

Last week I was revisiting my old MS-DOS game library and I started playing Xenon 2 - Megablast, and I always thought this game could have been a pretty awesome arcade shooter back in the day. Another game I just heard about recently was Gynoug (Wings of Wor) for the Sega Mega Drive console, which has cool graphics and animation (at least for the Mega Drive capabilities) and I immediately thought it could be way better if it had been developed for an arcade machine.

Anyone know of any other computer or console arcade style shmup that had great potential to be a great coin sucker?

Although I think that (a) does not actually match criteria in the thread title, (b) already exists.

I really wish there was an actual arcade machine of this. Hardware wise it runs on good old 68000 + YM2151 for sound. Would be nice to have such board in my collection.
