Interesting... mainstream gamers returning to shmuppy style games... and rejoicing? Heh. Microsoft may save our favored genre yet.

I want to play this so bad, but no 360.

Maybe I will borrow a buddy's XBox so I can play the rev which is in Project Gotham 2.

And yeah, very cool to see the genre starting to get its due in "modern" times, even if it's in small chunks.

And in all my years of reading IGN, I would never dream of thinking that "infamous" editor Doug Perry would say the following of a shooter:

Perry: Geometry Wars: Evolved, simply put, is the best game on Xbox 360 right now. In all honesty, it might have been the best one all along. The simple design and unparalleled addiction levels are a match made in arcade heaven.
