I was playing Tony Hawk's Underground, and I was on the last mission. I just needed to level up my speed stat and I would've been good to go, but today I turned off my PS2 after being on for a long time and not in use (like 3 days), and turned it on a few hours later (AKA ~10 mins ago as of typing). Anyway, I noticed I was in Tampa, Florida even though I last saved in Hawaii (acid dropping the pool from the hotel roof seemed like a great way to do 20 grabs to do the final spin level up challenge). I somehow got onto the save select screen (even though I meant to go to level select, and to my horror, I noticed my last save read "DAMAGED"!!!
I changed to a new save name (the one I was using up until now) 1/3 through the game after I picked my pro team, so I have to play
TWO THIRDS OF THE WHOLE FUCKING GAME OVER AGAIN!!!
From now on, I will save to 2 save files to prevent this from happening again, but does anyone know what happened (it's not even a 3rd party memory card and it couldnt've been in the middle of saving due to me last touching it like 2 days ago and just shutting it off today), and is there any way to recover it? I NEED HELP!!!
