  • You should display the whole playfield, in a larger window. Scrolling is extremely bad in an arena shooter like this; most kills take place offscreen, with unseen bullets. A clear perception of how the bullets move is essential.
  • The lasers hurt too much and too randomly. Every enemy weapon should remove 1 "shield" (and do the same damage to the enemy).
  • The lasers and explosions are tactically useless because they cannot be herded like the guided rockets. What about featuring different types of guided rockets, with different speed, acceleration and turning radius instead?
  • Bullet patterns are too random: too random to look good (even if the individual rockets are excellent), and more importantly too random to venture close to the enemy ship.
  • Graphical style: ship sprites are good, but low resolution causes excessive jagged edges as they rotate; rockets and their trails are great but could be more varied.
  • Consider keyboard navigation in the main menu; choosing a level is the only use of the mouse.
