If stones were free, I also tend to spread the rolls over time.
On the opposite, if stones were paid, I blow them all at once. This way the "oh no, my money is burning" feeling is shorter.
Main objective now is to gather +eggs to enhance the green team. Anyone has tried those last level of the current challenge ? They all give TAMADRAS with +50 eggs, but seem a little out of reach.

Well, I did it. Sold a bunch of stuff out of my box for MP and turned it into a Shiva Dragon. Now to see what kind of a team I can put together with this. (So far, it's looking like Ares, Freyr, Leilan and either Set or Yamato Takeru...)
I also got a second Sun Quan that I'll keep in case he gets an awoken evolution. My main Sun Quan is max-skilled and I don't want to reset that if his awoken form turns out to be good but too different to use in my current teams. I also got a third Liu Bei, but I'm thinking about selling him because I don't know if I need so many.
Has anyone here managed to build a team that can take on Legendary Skyway? I need Lifive as an evo material for Shiva Dragon, but this dungeon seems designed specifically to require multiple stones to get through.

Did not try that dungeon yet, but I can see AShiva team clearing it, something like :
AShiva / TPAs / TPAs / Board Change / ATK Boost / AShiva
Active AShiva asap to deal with floor 1-5 big def ennemies. You should be able to one shot everything. Floor 6 and 7 burst for enough damage.

I just gave the Christmas REM my one and only pull, and I got the 8-star red Kali. This is after reading about one guy in Japan streaming 800 pulls from the thing and not getting her. She's basically just like dark Kali, but with her colors flipped around. I should be really happy but I feel like the game is just teasing me. I think I could use her on my upcoming Awoken Shiva team though, but I'll have to decide who to kick out.

I rolled a few times on day two of the GF and basically got shit. Saria, Hanzo, stupid Dragon Samurai and some MP fodder. I guess Hanzo is fitting since I rolled Pandora in the players choice godfest and Saria should play nice with awoken Thor but pretty underwhelming over all.
I have dumped a quite a bit of stamina into farming Athena hoping for spirit jewel invades with no luck so far today. Is it even worth it to do this? Between awoken Thor and Amaterasu I hurting badly for light jewels.

I think it is, if you can farm Athena consistently though. I usually get an invade per 3 or 4 runs. Also remember that invades only occur in mythical.
Another option is to roll the Evo PEM, but getting a particular jewel is hard. Better stick to the Enhance PEM for fast XP imo.
Dont you have some stock jewels from previous challenges ? I have 6 light as of now, but no cards to awake.

^^^I had plenty of jewels until I decided to go for awoken Sakuya who demands eight jewels before all is said and done. I also only recently got around to ult. evoing Athena which really could have waited now that I think about it.
Well, six runs and three hundred stamina down and no invade. Athena's skill level is at three now so there's that I guess.
I thought I lucked out by pulling Liu Bei in one roll on the Christmas REM on my alt account. Then again I'm pretty much non-IAP these days (aside from the occasional 5 stones for the price of 1 deal) so I'm not doing a ton of rolling these days anyway.
I think Hatsume is the only Sengoku card who hasn't been appreciated at one point or another. Putting Fuma Kotaro on a light Kali team was a popular move because he's the only one who converts green to light, which helps make kill boards out of light Kali's active. Sasuke's 15 minutes of fame came when green Zhuge Liang teams were popular. Chiyome was and still is a popular choice on a variety of fire teams. I think Hanzo's role on dark/devil teams only recently got supplanted, but I can't remember by who; maybe Akechi.

My excitement is tempered because I don't really have a use for her. Her primary attribute is red which conflicts with my interest in making a few dark teams. But on the bright side, she enables me to build an Awoken Ra team if I ever manage to pull him.
I still get plenty of mileage out of my max skilled Sasuke on my GZL and Verdandi teams. In fact, I've really not found much use for Hanzo, even though I've had a DMeta that I originally planned to use him with. Even on my Ronia team I prefer to use my max skilled Ares (even though he's not devil type) for my primary orb changer.

If you are still working on putting together a viable end-game team, I would recommend passing or just doing one pull for fun. The gold egg rate in this Christmas REM is around 9%, but the Christmas-themed Healer Girls that come from this machine's silver eggs are actually pretty useful.

I’d also recommend not to roll the christmas REM and stick to the regular one during the next godfest. Odds of getting a good mid-to-end game leader in Christmas REM are almost 0.
Keep stones and pull everything later, forget about shining breasty Sonia and Kalis you wont regret it.

Spent some time grinding on the Wood Carnival dungeon today, and I've now managed to max skill both my Osiris and my Liu Bei out of it. I'm thinking I might consider replacing the Sasuke on my GZL and Verdandi teams with Osiris at this point, but then I'd be losing the attacker type.
Guys. I've been non-IAP until rank 133.. but the 5 stones for the price of 1 bargain..
Do I taint my legend permanently if I do it? Am I a "IAP-player" forever after that, even if it's just one purchase? Does this leave a mark anywhere if I "accidentally" do it?
No pb about $1 IAP cagar, do it. Plus this way, your data will be stored in a secure GH server, which means youll be able to recover it if a problem occurs. Clever GH.
Hermit, Christmas Liu Bei is great luck ! Dont you have a shiva ? He may also fit ABastet considering you have Verdandi, her boards give lots of reds. Not better than regular Liu Bei for ABastet, but still a beast.
You have some time left of Wood Carnival to skill him up with Winron, 20 stamina int level on 2x drop rate will drop every floor. Dont miss the opportunity, and read below for the new secret fast skilling up method...

I'd say that's up to you, but I seem recall hearing that you'd have an easier time recovering a lost account if it has made an IAP purchase than if you haven't...
I've actually spent a decent amount on IAP on both my accounts, but haven't bought anything more than the 5-for-1 stone deal in quite a while.
Also, Christmas Liu Bei doesn't skill up off of Winron, he skills up off the Minotaur that drops from the Christmas dungeon. I've been trying to skill up mine and it's been a real pain so far. Fortunately I still have most of the next two weeks to do it...

Turns out Christmas Liu Bei has a different active skill from standard Liu Bei; Christmas Liu Bei changes dark and heart orbs to fire. Not entirely sure how useful this will be with awoken Bastet...
However as it turns out the Christmas dungeon offers Christmas Liu Bei's unique skill up monster, so looks like I'm be grinding that.
So you guys think that Christmas Liu Bei could work on an awoken Bastet team? Apparently he's completely identical to the standard attacker Liu Bei only with the fire primary instead of the green primary.
Also possible idea for fire prong attacker team: Two awoken shiva leaders (2 prong awakenings each), a second awoken shiva sub (I had a dupe, 2 more prong awakenings ), Christmas Liu Bei (3 prong awakenings) chibi Chiyomi (3 more prong awakenings), and Phoenix rider (2 more prong awakenings).
Of course, I would have to get all the evo materials for the Shivas...
I think I could use her on my upcoming Awoken Shiva team though, but I'll have to decide who to kick out.
