I downloaded a demo of it sometime in 2008 (I think) on a friend's computer, and I'd like to play it again,
but I can't remember its name. It's space-themed, scrolls vertically, enemies come in waves (that is,
once all the enemies are destroyed, new ones show up), and there are four power-ups you can get:
Primary and secondary weapon upgrades (mutually exclusive), freeze enemies/bullets,
and one that makes your health constantly regenerate for a short period (so quickly, in fact,
that you can just plant yourself in the path of an oncoming line of enemy ships).
The levels are arranged on a number of tracks, each track featuring a different enemy empire
(or some such), and named things like "Space Pirate Strike," Space Pirate Interdiction," etc.
You can earn money (or something) to unlock a variety of ships, of which I can remember
only the Orlen Fighter and Orlen Railday. So, can anyone name this game for me?
I'd really appreciate it.
Can you identify this shmup?
Re: Can you identify this shmup?
I mis-spoke - it doesn't scroll vertically, it's just vertically oriented.
There's nothing but enemies and a background.
Anyone? Someone's got to know what it is...
(I think I might have found it on the old shootthecore
database, not that that narrows it down by much.)

Re: Can you identify this shmup?

There's that you can get to by scrolling down to the "Free Soft / Demos" link in the left-hand frame on this site, but you might not find what you're looking for because the compiler only included what he thought were the best.
