I want to see if anyone can help, because I'm afraid I just wasted money on an adapter.
I have a Sigma AV7000 that I'd like to output to my MS-2931 montor. To do this, I purchased the accessory RGB15 cable for the AV7000. I didn't realize that the 15-pin D-sub (Fig 1) is actually of the 2-row sort instead of the 3-row HD-15 that comes with my monitor (Fig 2), though, which means I still need an adapter.
Here is a description of the Japanese DB-15 pinout, but it gives 3 variations. Anyone know which one is right?
I gave this MAC HD-15 to DB-15 adapter a shot, which perhaps unsurprisingly didn't work in any of the DIP switch configurations. After all, it isn't Japanese DB-15; it's Macintosh DB-15, and it isn't HD-15 necessarily, but VGA in particular. So perhaps I'll be making the adapter myself, much as I'd rather buy one.
Has anyone made an adapter for this particular configuration? Does anyone know the pinout of the Sigma AV7000's RGB-15 cable?
Thanks in advance,
-Brandon
