Hi
I picked up a BVM-D24E1WU today and got it home to test out, but I'm getting an on screen Fan Error message for the 41HD card. The error is not shown when the card is removed and I've tried plug / unplug the card into a couple of different slots. Everything else seems to be okay. Any ideas on how to either fix the card or override the error message? If the card is fully busted I'll probably look to source another card - all the ones currently available are sent from the US.
Thanks,
John

You could try to clean or replace the fan in the card - I have no idea what model it is, but it probably has some kind of speed-indicator signal, similar to three-pin PC fans.zoopster wrote:Any ideas on how to either fix the card or override the error message?
Do you really need an HD-SDI input? If not, there should be other input cards that you can use which do not have a fan. If I'm reading the operations manual right, almost every input card that works in that monitor has analog input channels available that could be used for SD RGB.If the card is fully busted I'll probably look to source another card - all the ones currently available are sent from the US.
