Mega Man Zero
Which ones are the best. Mega Man games tend to be hit or miss.

I loved MMZ1! In fact, it's the only Megaman game I've ever beat, but the fact that Capcom just keep cranking out MMZ games every year (with what seems like little improvement) pissed me off so I've refused to play the others.Regulus wrote:All four are really high quality. Inticreates is clearly better at Mega Man than the guys currently working on the X series. Zero 1-4 are on par with the first three X games. They're a lot faster paced than the rest of the X series as well, especially if you're going for a higher rank.
Magazine and internet site reviews have been really positive. It's a shame that my disdain for Capcom's INSANE sequel practices makes it so I can't enjoy them.
The first MMZ is nothign special. It does introduce the series, but the level designs are uninspired. MMZ2 fixed that up nicely and also made the ranking a bit more balanced (still F'ing hard to get S's!!!). MMZ3 is what I'd call the pinnacle of the series. The only negative thing I could attribute to it might be the toning down on difficulty. The game is a little bit easier then the previous two, but I'm sure as hell not complaining. MMZ4 I have yet to play so I will not comment on it.
