I'm going to be a new owner of one of these soon. Is there anything I should look out for? Do they sell replacement parts? What about differences between AC and EX? If I get one PCB, can I order the upgrade kit? Can the cabinets run anything else? (in a perfect world I'd be able to use some scaling hardware and run some of the other multi screen games but I can't see that happening).
Open to thoughts/ideas and suggestions. Thanks fellas!

Re: Darius Burst AC / EX ETC cabinet questions
EX is an upgrade to AC, I'm not sure how Taito did/does the upgrades. There's also several regions of it, one for Japanese, one for Chinese, and one for English. The PCB is a regular ol' Type X2 with more RAM and uses Fast I/O instead of JVS (though the JVS card is still attached and can be used as well). It'd probably be possible to write a shim that simulates JVS from Fast I/O so that you wouldn't need to rewire the controls to use other TTX2 games. Given TTX2 is just a PC, you can also run MAME on there (probably requiring some more hackery to let you use Fast I/O or JVS) and play the other multi-screen Taito games.

Pretty likely but I'd have to rig up some code for MAME to take JVS/FIO inputs.
