Dragon's Lair the movie

Don Bluth and Gary Goldman are actually trying to get a HAND DRAWN Dragon's Lair movie done. I know it's a FMV game but it has a nostalgia value for me and I'd love to see it actually done. There hasn't been a actually hand drawn animated flick from that generation of talent in over a decade or more probably. I have zero interest in Pixar for the record.... I hate that CGI has totally taken over that front.
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

I'd say Dragon's Lair 2 is already a full-fledged movie:

Two working class dudes, one black one white, just baked a tray of ten cookies together.

An oligarch walks in and grabs nine cookies for himself.

Then he says to the white dude "Watch out for that black dude, he wants a piece of your cookie!"

I'd like to see the movie myself. I hope they keep those catchy sound fx.
This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

To clarify, they want $550k to make a teaser to show to movie executives to then ask for 70 million in funding to make the movie.

I'd love a Dragon's Lair movie, but based on these circumstances it may never come to pass.
