Righteous Super Hero / Righteous Love
This is looks to be a great remake. And the fact you can play as Vile? Very cool.
The music on that flash site brings back such great memories from when me and my brother finally got our SNES back in '95. I scored a new copy of MM X at Kay Bee toys for just $10 right before we got our system.
edit:A music group named Spinwake is linked on the front page for the site. I guess they must be the folks who are remixing the soundtrack?

I sincerely doubt that with it's pricetag the PSP will ever have the userbase that the PS2 has and the PS3 is likely to have. Therefore, as I've always said, any game that is developed for the PSP that does well will be upgraded and released on one of Sony's consoles. I'm quite sure that time will prove me right. The PSP ain't the next Gameboy in terms of sales sensations.
It's the lil' obscure at release gems like Baito Hell that I'm worried about having to buy a PSP for.

Well, I'm trading my PSP for a modded slim-PSTwo, which works perfectly, with someone from the www.neo-geo.com forums.PaCrappa wrote:I sincerely doubt that with it's pricetag the PSP will ever have the userbase that the PS2 has and the PS3 is likely to have. When I have an American PS2, I hate missing out on the Japanese games, and vice versa when I had the Asian PSTwo last year, so this seems like a pretty good solution for me.
Other then Star Soldier, the PSP system is just a bust. OK, there's Capcom Classics Remix, but that's about the only other game that I'd probably buy for it. I don't give two cents about watching movies on the go with it, downloading MP3's, or anything else that you can do with the PSP.
As far as hanheld gaming goes, I'll definately get a Game Gear at some point, but right now, I'm pretty satisfied with just the Game Boy Player I have hooked up to my Game Cube.

Need more temptation? FYI the level editor from Rockman Rockman for Japan and U.S. rev will have infrastructure mode. Yup. Make a killer level using the editor (fill it full of eyeclops, ladders, whatever) then upload and trade it online. The level editor itself is great (and a first for a Megaman game, gotta give Capcom major props) but online too = neato.steveovig wrote:I admit to wanting to buy a PSP just for this and Rockman Rockman. Both look very cool and I'd hate to miss out on them as I am a Mega Man freak. I love the editor from RR. It may be time to take the PSP plunge, I'm afraid.

Video Review. I like the reviewer for some reason.

General consensus: sounds like it's a solid remake overall with excellent presentation (the anime cut scenes total 24 minutes and "provide nice backstory"). IGN's closing comments though mentioned there is a bit of slowdown "when things get crazy."
Playing as Vile adds a lot of replay not to mention nice layer of extra difficulty to the game (which is good since he has a lot of extra firepower). One sorta neat extra is it comes with a demo of Megaman Powered Up, the demo can even be sent to a fellow PSP owner using gamesharing mode. Anyways, this will be a definite purchase right after I finish Tokobot.

Haha, I dunno, maybe I'm just cynical, but I have to knock on that reviewer. "The game is now way beter because it's presented in widescreen 3d -- this adds a new level of excitement that was never presented before." -- "Anime cutscenes make the game more engaging than the original could possibly hope to be." -- the game looks good without a doubt, but I can't stand reviews thand sound like nothing more than marketing copy.

We here shall not rest until we have made a drawing-room of your shaft, and if you do not all finally go down to your doom in patent-leather shoes, then you shall not go at all.
