NESRGB and Expansion Audio on Famicom

If I was to attempt to use the NESRGB audio amp instead of the stock audio circuit on a Famicom or AV Famicom (HVC-001 or HVC-101), how does that get connected? From what I understand, when you tap CPU pin 1 and 2, they do not contain expansion audio. Where does that signal come from, and how does it get connected to the NESRGB?
