BVM / SATURN color issue—I don’t even …

BVM :(

I’ve got a color issue with a Sega Saturn and can’t figure out what the problem is. The Saturn’s image has a huge blue tint on the BVM. Using the same cable on an LCD display via XRGB-Mini yields a properly colored picture. So it’s most likely not the cable.

So the BVM could be the culprit but here’s where things get strange. The system’s been calibrated via a probe by me and every other input source displays proper colors.
What gives? If everything on this thing displays proper colors except the Saturn and the console itself is not the problem–what is it?

Here’s a table to illustrate my case. If anyone can figure this out I shall send them some german beer.

I'm probably entirely wrong, but is it possible that the cable has some funky impedance that the XRGB doesn't have an issue with, but the BVM does?

Hmm, I’ve no idea but it doesn’t sound unreasonable. It’s a retro_console_accessories cable (awesome build quality and support by the way). I’ll forward her this thread. This might very well be the solution. If this is fixable by cable you just got yourself a free beer.

It seems to be the input board. I tried another board and it looks flawless with both the Saturn and other devices.
When I correct the gain via maintenance menu to make Saturn look good on the ›bad‹ board, every other device has a horrible yellow tint.

Might have it serviced because these boards are hard to find. Sucks, a bad cable would have been better for me. ;)
