XRGB Mini Issue

Post by lechu »

Sorry if this isn't the best place to post.

I got my XRGB-Mini in the mail yesterday, and I'm having some issues.

I have my SNES and Genesis hooked up with scart (with an adapter from retro gaming cables website). When playing, my game will flicker from time to time and sometimes drop out for a good 5 seconds or so. Here's a video of the flickering, and sorry for the vertical video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6bAcxp ... e=youtu.be). You can see what happens around 11 and 25 seconds in the video. I have my N64 hooked up with scart too, but haven't had any issues with that.

Any ideas?

and you already adjusted the sync level setting ? Try something like 15 instead of the standard setting (9 I think).

Ok, I'll give it a shot.

Something I forgot to mention is that this problem happens sporadically. It'll work fine for an hour, then start dropping every 15 seconds.

That's what the setting is there for. Give it a try.

It seems to be working so far. But I won't confirm anything until I try a few times.

Ok, haven't had sync problems since, but another problem has come up. All of a sudden, it won't let me load profiles. I can select them, but absolutely nothing changes. I haven't the slightest idea why.
