I am thinking about purching the
Oretachi Geasen Zoku Sono 2: Crazy Climber
for PS2.
As a previous experiance on Sonic Wing, this series doesn't allow you to remap the game control buttons. So I wish to know the control mapping of this game before purchasing.
Also I wish to know if I could use a standard PSOne controler for this title.
Thanks in advance.

I hope the game just uses both analog controls as the controls...
Did you ever play the arcade version? The game used two sticks only. One stick controls the left arm, the other controls the right arme.
The most obvious choice for a control method on a PS2 would be using both analog sticks, OR using the D-Pad as the left arm control, and the face buttons as the right arm control (Triangle=up, square=left, circle=right and X= down) (Or both
)
Of course, I am just guessing, as I never played the PS2 version. But if I was a developer, that's how I would map the controls.

What I want to confirm is whether the control is mapped as this. Since I had build a twin stick controller using this mapping with Sanwa parts.Shatterhand wrote:...using the D-Pad as the left arm control, and the face buttons as the right arm control (Triangle=up, square=left, circle=right and X= down) (Or both)
But since I use a PSOne regular controller's PCB, if the game must use the PS2 analog contoller OR does not map the face button; my custom twin sticks controller would render useless for this game.
So I wish to confirm the game controls mapping before purchase.
